Product Description:
PVC slice gate valves are designed for pool & spa, irrigation, plumbing, waste water and agricutural applications. They feature stainless stells shafts to prevent rust and corrosion and are constructed of ozone and chemical resistant Santoprene materials. The Santoprene seals are integrated to the paddle to eliminate any chance of torn or punctured gaskets. Solvent cement traps are in place to catch any excess glue during the installation process. Valterra's patent pending triple O-ring neck seal ensures against any chance of shaft leakage. Every valve is tested at double the recommended working pressure. They feature push/pull or plunger type operation and provide a reliable alternative to standard turn-to-close valves such as ball valves. Maximum working pressure is 50 PSI. The Uni-Body design valves feature: One piece uni-body design Combination socket ID x spigot OD for installation flexibility Locking handle provides positive shut-off and easy gate opening The Three Piece design valves feature: Three piece configuration allows for easy repair or can be used as a union for installation flexibility Three piece configuration easily disassembles for inline service
